- Algorithms
by Dasgupta, Papadimitriou, Vazirani.
On reserve at Grainger. Very readable and nice book.
A draft is available online for free.
- Jon Kleinberg and Éva Tardos. Algorithm Design.
Addison-Wesley, 2005. Excellent book although not so cheap. Many good exercises and woderful chapter on network flows. More formal analysis than the Dasgupta etal book.
Other recommended reading:
- Jeff Erickson's course material from Spring 2010 (highly recommended).
- Sariel Har-Peled's course material from Fall 2011. The current semester will closely follow these notes which are in turn based on Chandra Chekuri's notes
from Fall 2009 which are in turn based on Mahesh Viswanathan's notes from 2006.
- Introduction to Algorithms by Cormen, Leiserson, Rivest, Stein. On reserve at Grainger.
- Computers and Intractability by Garey and Johnson. On reserve
at Grainger.
