Hi. I am a first year Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Dept at UIUC. I am working with Prof. Jiawei and am affiliated to the DAIS laboratory.
Prior to joining UIUC, I was a Research Engineer at Yahoo! Labs, Bangalore (Aug 2007 - Jul 2009).
I received my master's degree (M.Tech.) from the Computer Science Dept at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) where I worked with Prof. S. Sudarshan.
My research interests are Pattern Mining, Machine Learning, Data-mining and Databases.
