About Me
Hi! I am a Ph.D. student in the Data Mining Research Group,
Department of Computer Science,
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
My advisor is Dr. Jiawei Han. I received my B.S.
degree from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2005 and
M.S. degree from UIUC in 2007, both in computer science.
In summer 2008 and 2009, I was a research intern in Microsoft Research, working with the
Data Managemenent, Exploration and Mining (DMX) group and
Internet Services Research Center (ISRC), respectively.
Research Interest
My research interests center around data mining and database systems. I am interested in developing
effective and efficient algorithms for discovering interesting patterns from multidimensional data.
I have also been working on association and correlation mining for large transaction data.
